Have used their service for many years. They are ALWAYS prompt, courteous, and thorough with reasonable prices. They have even gone above and beyond with troubleshooting help and suggestions via phone at all hours AT NO CHARGE in an effort to save the customer money. Before I started using their services, I used the services of quite a few other companies. Some of them wanted to perform unnecessary work at exorbitant prices. Kraft heating IS NOT like that. They will recommend only necessary work and explain why it is necessary, but allow the customer to decide what services they would like performed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! I wouldn't call anyone else! Living in Alaska it is important to have a heating repair and service company you can trust and rely on. Kraft Heating is it. We recently had our furnace checked out for the winter and everything went perfectly, starting with showing up exactly at the scheduled time and ending with the reasonably priced easy to understand invoice, they went above and beyond as usual. After dealing with two other Companies for our Boiler issues, Kraft Heating was half the price and completed the work with NO BS. They were fast to come out to do the Job unlike one of the other companies who told me I was a week or more out. If you are new to Alaska and have ANY boiler issues these guys won't try and take advantage of your lack of boiler knowledge and will most definitely educate you if have questions. Our family knows who to call should any other issues arise. We are looking forward to our 1st winter in FBX knowing our boiler was finally taken care of properly. This company was supposed to service the boiler in our house as part of a pre-sale inspection. We aren’t sure exactly what happened, as they refused to return our calls or answer our questions, but our boiler was either not serviced, or done so very, very poorly. Our lift pump began leaking only a week or two after they serviced the system, there were multiple leaks in the boiler, and the filter in the boiler was so dirty it was non-functional. We had two separate companies work on our heating system since then, and both stated that all those issues should have been identified and/or fixed as part of the pre-sale inspection. Their lack of attention and poor service ultimately ended up costing us thousands of dollars in later repairs.
