We did the snowmobile tour and ice fishing. It was early in the season and Rod was very up front about the need for more snow and as luck would have it . We got got enough snow and the lake had 6inches of ice. Mannnnnnn, those snowmobiles were sweet !!! Mine had 29 miles on it , not after that trip !!! 2hours is not enough time too much fun !!! The heated grips and heated helmets were a must !!! Then the ice fishing , Rod and little Rod set us up and got us going then the fish started bitting and we were eating fresh fish on a freaking frozen lake !!! That’s a win of wins !!! We had to catch and release there were sooo many !!! Definitely will be back to Alaska and to try out the summer tours !!! Thank you Rod !!! Amazing , just amazing !!!! I can't thank Rod enough for how responsive, professional and accomodating he was! I happen to come right before the season started but once the conditions were ideal and safe, he went with his son to clear the snowmobile trails and pack them, and shovel snow off the area we would Ice-Fish to allow the ice to thicken! Thankfully mother nature provided more snow in the 5 day period Rod and I were communicating, to allow our group to be his first of the season to get on his top of the line, brand new snowmobiles! We continued the fun next day on Chena Lake for some ice fishing where he was also teaching his son how to do the set up for the guest and know the fish species differences. Reindeer sausages were delicious! The experience was overall amazing and our group is looking to come back for more of the activities that he can provide. Im more then happy with the experience Rod and his son provided. Real experienced outdoorsman, ensuring his guest are safe and comfortable. Very reasonable on pricing and absolutely, completely worth every penny! Not to mention, Rod is just a cool dude period! I appreciate all the hard work and prep he and his family put into this for our family. That speaks for itself. An unforgettable experience. Snowmobile tour was so much fun, we saw moose and got to ride on the lake. It was such an adrenaline rush. Not only that but Rod also provides heated helmets and had extra gear such as gator necks, gloves and boots. Ice fishing was so much fun, we caught so many fish and then got to eat them after. They were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. While we fished we enjoyed a reindeer sausage that also was amazing. I can't even say it enough, such an unforgettable experience. This was real 5 star service! Up to date equipment and knowledgeable staff. Within 10 minutes I felt like Riley and I had been buddy's for 10 years. We snow-machined for 3 hours and fished for 3 hours. All of it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Highly recommend these guys! We're coming back for a hunt next time. We did snow mobile and ice fishing on the same day. The guild Rod and Jessica here are very nice and flexible with schedules and plans. They provided professional and exiting tours for us as well! We had a great time of snow mobile in a forest for 2 hours. There are nice views of snow. We also got lucky to see 3 moose on the trail. Then we did a 4 hours ice fishing on Chena lake. They have fishing holes either inside the cabinet or outside. So if you get cold, you can enjoy fishing in a warm place. They would also cook the fish for you after you caught them. A group of us did catch 9 fishes in total today. Everyone enjoyed the time spending there. The sunset views on the lake is also attractive! I would suggest them!
